Before & Aftercare

Before Your Treatment

  • Inform us if you're considering starting, or are already on, any medication
  • Disclose any cold sores (Herpes Simplex), recent treatments or allergies
  • Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications (aspirin, ibuprofen) for 24 hours before
  • Eat a small meal beforehand and arrive well hydrated

Aftercare

  • Apply a cold compress gently to reduce swelling or bruising
  • Stay hydrated and maintain a healthy diet for optimal skin recovery
  • Use gentle skincare products and avoid harsh exfoliants for a few days
  • Sleep with your head slightly elevated the first night to reduce swelling

✕ Aftercare - Avoid

  • Touching, pressing or massaging the treated area for at least 24 hours (unless instructed by your practitioner)
  • Strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms or hot showers for 24–48 hours
  • Alcohol and blood-thinning medications (aspirin, ibuprofen) for 24 hours, as they may increase bruising
  • Direct sun exposure, tanning beds and extreme temperatures for a few days

What to Expect

Mild swelling, redness or bruising is normal and should subside within a few days. Results will gradually improve as the filler settles.

  • Sleep with your head slightly elevated the first night
  • Wait at least two weeks before considering any new filler in the same area

✕ Aftercare - Avoid

  • Touching, pressing or massaging the treated area for 24 hours
  • Strenuous exercise, saunas and steam rooms for 48 hours
  • Alcohol for at least 24 hours, as it may worsen swelling
  • Make-up over the injection sites for 12 hours

What to Expect

Swelling, redness and tenderness are normal for 3–7 days and may temporarily look more pronounced than the original filler. Final results - your natural facial contours - appear after 2 weeks once swelling fully settles.
